A few lucky people can say they had a mentor at least once in their life. I will share with all of you, I had a mentor, a positive shadow by my side and her name was Debbie Ford. Ruthlessly compassionate, divinely connected and a generous heart for humanity.
You may know, Debbie Ford passed away from a battle with cancer in February of this year. Her life was not an easy one but was committed to helping people through their pain with hope and love. She was deeply passionate about her work and helping others.
A room truly lit up when she walked into it. She made you feel special and loved. In a room full of people, when she talked with you, nothing else mattered. Her brilliance, her beauty, her friendship, her positive presence is what I will remember.
I am happy to say the work she did lives on with me and others personally coached by Debbie Ford. She wrote many books and one of which is the premise for my work called; Spiritual Divorce. She was my true inspiration.
She transformed thousands of lives by being a great listener versus a talker and curious versus judgmental. Those attributes are what I not pass on to the clients I work with.
I sign off by saying- I will miss you but you will live in my heart forever my dear friend.
